Laboratorio Teatro Jessica Walker is a Barcelona-based school of dramatic expression centred on performance, movement and creative exploration.
The project required a digital platform capable of communicating the intensity and freedom of its artistic practice while making the school, its methodology and its programmes easier to understand.
Our challenge was to create a clearer digital structure without removing the raw, theatrical character that makes Laboratorio distinctive.
We organised the website around a clearer visual and verbal narrative that introduces Jessica Walker’s methodology, the school’s identity and its programmes without over-explaining the work.
The tone remains expressive and theatrical, allowing strong imagery and carefully paced content to carry the experience.
The website was structured as a visual journey through the school’s practice. Navigation, page hierarchy and content flow were simplified so visitors can move naturally between the methodology, programmes and practical information.
Responsive behaviour was considered from the beginning so the same intensity remains present across desktop and mobile.
Technical SEO, semantic structure and content organisation were integrated into the website foundation rather than added after design.
This gives Laboratorio a clearer search presence while keeping the experience visually distinctive and easy to manage over time.
